Beginner Alignment Yoga

Perfect for the beginner who's never taken a yoga class, students will learn practical techniques to relieve tension in the body and mind. In addition to releasing the accumulated tensions of the day, participants will also build strength and flexibility. All ages and body types welcome.

Intermediate Alignment Yoga

The intermediate series is best for the intermediate to advanced yoga practitioner or those with significant experience in movement arts. This series will help broaden your understanding of the postures and breathing, and how to develop your personal practice at home.

Yoga for Strength

Using yoga to build strength and endurance can be a powerful cross-training tool for runners, bikers and skiers or for those just looking to burn some calories. This class will use hatha-based poses to safely build strength and suppleness in the body. Great for folks at all levels who are up for a new challenge!

Yoga for Relaxation (Restorative Yoga)

For beginner to advanced students looking to add an hour of relaxation to their evening routine. Whether busy with work, school, family, or other physical endeavors, join Sarah to restore, relax, and bring you back to you. A calming class of mindful yoga and breathe sequencing to open the body and center the mind, helping you unwind from your day. The class combines guided relaxation, restorative poses and deep breathing techniques to help you leave feeling grounded and nourished.

Lunchtime Express Yoga (offered Fall and Winter)
Instructor: Sarah Tarkington

Perfect for those who can't make it to our evening classes or are looking for a little movement over during their work day, this Hatha-based class is just for you. All levels welcome. Class is just $5 or 1/2 a punch on your studio pass.

Prenatal Yoga
Instructor: Charmaine Swan

Discover how yoga poses and the power of the breath can help strengthen the body & prepare the mind for birth and beyond. Suitable for women in any trimester of pregnancy, though some previous experience with yoga is recommended for those in the later stages of their pregnancy. Pre-registration required to take class as series; drop-ins with substantial previous yoga experience or previous prenatal yoga session OK.

Family Yoga

The perfect activity for late winter mornings when it's too cold or muddy to go outside with the babe--we'll introduce movements inspired by books and animals, song and circle time. $5 drop-in per family.

Saturday Morning Yoga

Rise and shine with this all levels morning Hatha practice designed to get your weekend off to a brilliant start. Perfect for the beginner to advanced student who wants to get some weekend practice in, this class will focus on getting you relaxed, grounded, and moving in the morning to face the weekend with calmness and strength. It will include breathwork, pose study, and enough movement to build a little heat in the a.m. Can't fit in any "me time" in your week or just want a weekend practice option? Then come join us to get refreshed, revived, and renewed on a Satuday morning!
